We Believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice [Matt. 5:18; John 10:35; 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21].
We Believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit [Isaiah 40-48; Psalm 104; Psalm 139; Matt. 10:29-31; Acts 17:24-28; Col. 1:16-17; Heb. 1:1-13; Rev. 1:4-6].
We Believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy [Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:22-23; 5:12; Eph. 2:1-3, 12].
We Believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith [Eph. 1:7, 2:8-10; John 1:12; 1 Peter 1:18-19].
We Believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation [Isaiah 53:1-12; Matt. 1:18-25; John 1:1-18; Rom. 8:34; Gal. 3:10-14; Philip. 2:6-11: Heb. 7:25; 9:13-15; 10:19].
We Believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him [Matt. 3:11; John 1:12-13; 3:1-15; 15:26-27; 16:7-15; 1 Cor. 12:12-13; 2 Cor. 1:21-22].
We Believe the Lord Jesus Christ will triumphantly return, bodily and visibly, at the end of the age to resurrect all humanity, condemning all who have rejected Him to eternal punishment, and uniting all believers to reign forever with God in eternal life and glory in His restored kingdom [Acts 1:9-11; Matt. 25:31-46; Mark 14:61-62; Philip. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 5:2-3; Rev. 5:9-10].
We Believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ [Col. 3:23-24; 1 Thess. 5:23].
